Since our registration in January 2004, our MAJOR achievements are as follows:

  • Organised various fund raising activities to promote U-Link’s objectives. Please click here to have more info about our last fund raising activity at Kitsch Club.

  • Organised various seminars and workshops in view of raising public awareness and concern on issues affecting disability among children and as well as to disseminate information regarding facilities available to help and assist these children.

  • Organised various outing and educational tours for needy children.

  • Compiled and published (in 3000 copies) a booklet - Guide to Disability 06/07 (view launching ceremony) that list all existing centres which cater for disabled children – day care centres, resource centres, etc. It also includes information on each of these centres, including speciality catered for, age groups, therapies, and any other relevant details.

  • Our members have been visiting almost all major NGOs that cater for disability needs in Mauritius. The aim of these visits were to identify the needs of these NGOs in a view to be a helping hand in their endeavor.
