Sometimes people with a disability are compared to normal people. This implies that the person with a disability is abnormal and ignores the fact that everyone has their own unique identity and abilities. For comparisons you could say other people instead.

Members of U-Link are person of the age of 18 years and over who are resident of Mauritius. Presently, U-Link is composed of around 20 members and of about 50 volunteers.

The Association is administered by a Managing Committee composed of 12 members who are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting.

Kindly note that the decision to accept or to reject any application for membership rests with the Managing Committee which shall assign no reason for such decision.
